We offer a range of different and durable fabrics for all our bean bags, but accidents do happen, here's some tips on how to keep your bean bag in good condition.
- Brush off any loose dirt
- Use a mix of 1/4 cup of mild soap with 2L of water; it's best to clean the entire surface to avoid water marks.
- Use a soft bristle brush to clean
- Hang up to dry and air out
We recommend hand wash but you can also use a gentle cycle on your washing machine (for models with removable covers).

Filling your bean bag: your zip is a childproof safety lock with no pull tab — use a paperclip (or similar) to open it. Fill in a low-draft space with a helper on hand, cut the corner off the fill bag for control, and use a funnel if you have one. Close the liner, work it into the cover, zip up, and give it a shake to form the shape. Some settling is normal in the first 30–90 days of use — top up if needed.
Recommended fill: get in touch and we'll confirm the exact volume for this shape — it's a lower, wider profile than our round pods, so it doesn't map to a standard size guide.
Care & cleaning: wipe clean with a damp cloth for everyday spills. The cover is removable — hand wash or use a gentle machine wash cycle, then hang to dry. Do not bleach, tumble dry, or iron. Colour transfer can occur if placed on a pale or damp surface, so let it dry fully before use.
⚠️ Safety warning: Children can suffocate if bean bag filling is swallowed or inhaled. Do not let children climb inside this bean bag. A bean bag is not a safe sleeping surface for an infant under 12 months of age.
